The Release – Simplifying Daily Routines

By Pany Nazari

The Release was a labor of love (or poop)! Or as they say: necessity is the mother of invention!

As a pelvic physical therapist who has suffered for years with symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse, I had to do something to help me defecate better. Everyone knows that if you do not completely evacuate your bowels, it affects your wellness physically and emotionally.

Using my fingers to push on the perineum or press through the vagina was too much! But that was the only way to get the fecal matter out.

And there are other people who have orthopedic issues or body shapes that do not allow for them to reach down enough to effectively push and press to empty their bowels. So, that was the inspiration for the design of the Release!

The Release – Simplifying Daily RoutinesI was grateful to work with the experts at CMT medical, who have dedicated decades of hard work to providing quality pelvic health products for all people. Together, we were able to produce this wonderful device, which is durable, cost-effective, easy to transport, and quick to clean.

Thousands of people have purchased this very necessary tool, and many have provided great feedback. It really makes my heart sing to know that so many lives have been changed by such a simple and inexpensive device!

Some people find the Release to be a helpful preventative tool, decreasing the chance of developing rectocele while addressing constipation issues. And some even use the Release during pregnancy, once they have been cleared by their OBGYN.

Additionally, the long handle of the Release allows for pressure to be applied upward, externally to the perineum. This is an advantage over other devices, as many women suffer more from increased laxity in the perineum versus a prolapsed rectum.

While I hope we do a better job at teaching women preventative care, so no woman suffers from pelvic related issues in the future, I believe that making their lives a bit more manageable by simplifying daily routines is what we need to address in the interim.

The Release is a gentle vaginal device designed to relieve bowel issues associated with Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP).

Clinicians recommend the Release because it provides:
• a safe, hygienic option for women of all ages
• relief from complications of POP, such as difficulty with bowel movements due to a rectocele (a weakened or herniated vaginal wall)
• a non-invasive way to ease the pain and discomfort of constipation and other bowel issues
