The Vermed sEMG disposable lead wire set is a cut above the rest when it comes to reliable, artifact free readings for your biofeedback instrumentation. This all-in-one disposable lead-wire set includes self-adhesive 0.875” / 22.225mm square pre-wired foam electrode which is carefully designed with gentle, hypoallergenic adhesives and soft conforming materials to ensure comfort and effectiveness on patients.
The lead-wires are made with a thicker gauge wire than other brands which decreases interference that other brands, with a smaller gauge wire, are susceptible to.
This disposable electrode lead wire set is a lower cost alternative for clinics who are concerned with infection control. Packed in 25 individual sets per bag, each consisting of three individual lead wires with pre-gelled electrodes attached.
The Vermed will work with the PG-7100 adapter, commonly used with the Pathway MR series sEMG systems, and the PG-7300 adapter found on the Pathway CTS series instrumentation or other instrumentation with appropriate adapters.
Each set comes with a green, black and white lead wire and it is recommended that you attach the black and white lead wire to the red hubs of the adapters and match the green wire to the green hub of the adapter as the reference. Your two active leads would be your white and black.
Typical placement of the Vermed disposable electrodes uses your two active leads (white and Black) on the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock position on either side of the anus. After the session is complete simply throw the lead wires out. There are no other infection control steps that you need to take.
The Vermed Disposable Electrode is not recommended for use with pelvic floor stimulation (PFS). PFS is not approved for use with external electrodes.
The preferred sensor(s) would be the Pathway PG-6330, internal vaginal sensor and the Pathway PG-6340 which have a direct connection to the Pathway PG-STM-10 and Port A of the Pathway CTS series instrumentation.
If you choose or have the Utah Medical Liberty unit you may choose the Liberty vaginal sensor“, “Liberty extended handle vaginal sensor” & “Liberty rectal sensor“.
