What are Pathway Surface EMG Electrodes?
PG-6750 Surface EMG electrodes are the correct choice for clinicians utilizing Pathway systems in their clinic. Used for all surface muscle these electrodes are the perfect conduit between the surface EMG sensor (PG-2583) and the patient’s skin. The electrodes would be the appropriate choice for clinicians monitoring:
- TA placement to downtrain abdominal recruitment during pelvic muscle exercises.
- VMO/VL placement for evaluating and treating Patellofemoral Syndrome.
- Wrist Extensor & Flexor muscle bundles to eliminate co-contraction for stroke rehab.
- Trapezius, Masseter & SCL muscles for the treatment of neck, shoulder, and headache.
These are just a few examples of typical placements using the PG-6750 in the clinical setting for evaluation and treatment.
* Please note that the PG-6750 surface EMG electrodes would not be recommended for the use on the pelvic floor as the potential for electrode contamination exists given the proximity to patient mucosa. Please contact Current Medical Technologies, Inc. (800) 382-5879 for appropriate surface EMG configuration.
The PG-6750 Surface EMG electrodes are a foam backed, pre-gelled silver/silver-chloride electrode and comes in 100 placements per bag. This product does not contain natural rubber latex.
