The Gellhorn pessary with drains is used to relieve the symptoms of cystocele as well as a second or third-degree uterine prolapse. This pessary’s stem with knob is easily folded to facilitate insertion and removal.

This product requires a valid prescription from a licensed Healthcare Provider to process and ship directly to a Patient. The prescription must include the patient’s name, item description, quantity (if applicable), order date, and the provider’s name/NPI and signature. Fax to 508-947-1486.

The Gellhorn pessary is a vaginal prosthesis that has evolved over centuries to become an effective medical device to relieve the stress of uterine or bladder prolapse, cystocele, rectocele, and often improves the symptoms of urinary incontinence.

Pessaries are distributed in a variety of styles, shapes, and sizes. They are perfectly safe, effective, and comfortable for long term usage.

The contraindication for pessaries is acute genital tract infections, pelvic infections, or noncompliant patients.
