The PG-6340 is an internal combination sEMG Biofeedback and Pelvic Floor Stimulation (PFS) rectal sensor.

This internal sensor was originally designed for rectal use but is commonly used vaginally to accommodate patients with smaller vault sizes.

PG-6340 Features

• This sensor is a single patient multi use rectal sensor and cannot be shared between patients.
• The rectal sensor has two tabs for insertion identification.
• The longer of the two tabs should be facing up towards the pubis in order to achieve the desired placement.
• The PG-6340 rectal sensor features a bulb at the end.
• The bulb helps the sensor to seat correctly in the orifice and guards against expulsion for those patients who are extremely weak or have a prolapse.

PG-6340 Sensor Use

The PG-6340 vaginal sensor has three elongated nickel contact points. These contacts act as your two active and one reference electrode during sEMG biofeedback training.

The length and width of the contacts provide a larger area of disbursement. The clinician can deliver more comfortable Pelvic Floor Stimulation to the patient.

This sensor will directly connect to the Pathway CTS systems through port A of the device. It uses that port to record sEMG biofeedback and deliver PFS.

The sensor will also connect to the Pathway MR and TR series sEMG instrumentation through the use of the PG-3660 adapter.

The PG-6340 will directly input into the PG-STM-10 and can work with the liberty PFS unit with the use of the PG-3700 adapter.

PG-6340 Cleaning

As a single patient multi use item, cleanup is simple. The recommended cleaning for the sensor is soap and water and allow the PG-6340 sensor to air dry.

For infection control purposes – do not store the sensors for individual patients in the clinic.

Patients should take their sensors with them and bring them back to the clinic on their next visit.

PG-6340 Manufacturing

The PG-6340 uses #304 stainless steel and includes 8% nickel. This product does not contain any rubber or latex materials.
