Pathway Internal Vaginal/Rectal Sensor PG-6320The PG-6320 is an internal Vaginal/Rectal sensor for Pathway System Configurations, Patient Units, and other sEMG biofeedback systems only.

PG-6320 Features

  • This sensor is a single patient multi use vaginal or rectal sensor and cannot be shared between patients.
  • The Vaginal/Rectal sensor has a tab for insertion identification.
  • The tab should be facing up towards the pubis in order to achieve the desired placement.
  • The Vaginal/Rectal sensor is without a bulb at the end which could cause expulsion for those patients who are extremely weak or have a prolapse.
  • Clinicians can choose the PG-6330 or PG-6340 sensor if the possibility of expulsion exists.

PG-6320 Sensor Use

The PG-6320 internal Vaginal/Rectal Sensor has three elongated nickel contact points, these contacts act as your two active and one reference electrode during sEMG biofeedback training.

The length and width of the contacts are not suitable for Pelvic Floor Stimulation. Do not use this sensor for that purpose.

This internal Vaginal/Rectal sensor will directly connect to the Pathway CTS systems through port A of the device. It uses that port to record sEMG biofeedback.

The sensor will also connect to the Pathway MR and TR series sEMG instrumentation through the use of the PG-3660 adapter.

PG-6320 Cleaning

As a single patient multi use item, cleanup is simple. The recommended cleaning for the sensor is soap and water and allow the PG-6320 sensor to air dry.

For infection control purposes it is recommended that the clinician not store the sensors for individual patients in the clinic.

Patients should take their sensors with them and bring them back to the clinic on their next visit.

PG-6320 Manufacturing

The PG-6320 uses #304 stainless steel and includes 8% nickel. This product does not contain any rubber or latex materials.
